Better than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi! Following Bayern Munich's victory over PSG, Kingsley Coman establishes an insane Champions League record.

With his goal against PSG, Kingsley Coman became the player with the most Champions League wins in their first 50 appearances in the competition.

Coman scores the game-winning goal against PSG.

Bayern Munich leads 1-0 at the Allianz Arena.

The Frenchman's goal secured him a significant record.

WHAT OCCURED? Bayern Munich took a 1-0 win away from the Parc des Princes in the Champions League last 16, leaving Paris Saint-Germain with a lot of work to do to turn the tie around away from home in the second leg. In addition to scoring the game-winning goal, Coman broke a record that neither Cristiano Ronaldo nor Lionel Messi can lay claim to.

Coman secured his 39th Champions League victory in only his 50th appearance in the competition, slotting the ball beneath Gianluigi Donnarumma with a first-time effort 53 minutes into the game.

His goal gives the German champions a significant advantage heading into the second leg at the Allianz Arena, where they could knock out a major rival in their quest for a seventh European title. When the two sides met in the 2020 final, which Bayern also won 1-0, Coman scored the only goal, securing the club's second continental treble.

Neither Ronaldo nor Messi, who have been in the competition for much longer, will be able to break that record. However, while the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner can respond by potentially inspiring PSG to a comeback in Munich, Ronaldo now plays his football in Saudi Arabia and can only watch as Messi smashes in goals for Al-Nassr, hoping that Messi does not break his record as the all-time top Champions League scorer.

Any hopes of making a deep run into the tournament and potentially winning European football's most coveted prize rest on Coman and Bayern's other star players producing when it counts, as he did against his former employers at the Parc des Princes.
