Cristiano Ronaldo stole the show on Thursday, scoring four goals.

He scored twice in the first half and then added two more after the break.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals as Al-Nassr defeated Al-Wehda 4-0 on Thursday.

After rescuing a point for his new club with a last-minute penalty last week, Ronaldo did not leave it so late this time, opening his account for the evening with a left-footed strike into the bottom corner midway through the first half.

Shortly before halftime, he doubled his tally by calmly slotting the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper.

The 38-year-old had to wait more than two minutes to see if he had simply strayed offside during the build-up, but the goal was eventually awarded.

A header would have completed his hat-trick, but he had to settle for a penalty instead, rifling his spot-kick into the bottom corner in the 51st minute.

Ronaldo scored his first goal with a deft left-footed finish into the far corner of the net.

Ronaldo was overjoyed when his second goal was awarded following a lengthy VAR review.

After Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 500th league goal, Piers Morgan gave him a congrats.

Even after his initial attempt was sent away, he still had time to add a fourth goal, latching onto a through ball and burying the rebound.

During the course of the evening, Ronaldo reached the landmark of 500 league goals for his career. Close friend Piers Morgan later complimented him on his accomplishment.

Morgan tweeted, "BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo scores all four goals as Al-Nassr defeats Al-Wehda 4-0 to pass 500 League goals in his career."

He has now scored 61 hat-tricks, including 31 after turning 30. He is currently 38 years old. Astounding. Congratulation, Cristiano.

When he was still playing for Manchester United in November, Ronaldo infamously sat down with Morgan for a tell-all interview and lambasted the team and manager Erik ten Hag.

His time at Old Trafford was over as a result, and later that month, his contract was terminated amicably.

Early in the second half, Ronaldo converted a penalty to complete his hat-trick.

Ronaldo tapped in a rebound from close range for his fourth goal and the fourth of his team.

Ronaldo signed a hefty £175 million-per-year contract with Al-Nassr more than a month after his painful departure, but he struggled to get his career going in Saudi Arabia.

After being delayed in making his debut because of a suspension from his time in England, Ronaldo then failed to score in either of his first two games for his new team.

He did, however, ultimately score with a late penalty in a 2-2 draw with Al-Fateh last week, and he displayed good goal-scoring ability on Thursday.

Al-Nassr have risen to the top of the Saudi Pro League on the basis of goal differential thanks to his five goals in his past two games.

Ronaldo will have another chance to show off his skills when Al-Nassr hosts Just Al-Taawoun next Friday.
