Arsenal's chances of winning the Premier League have been reduced to 34% after losing to rivals Manchester City.

The Gunners were defeated 3-1 at home on Wednesday, dropping to first place in the Premier League on goal difference.

A penalty by Bukayo Saka cancelled out Kevin de Bruyne's opener.

The Sky Blues, on the other hand, were ruthless in the second half, scoring two more goals through Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland.

However, they still have a game in hand on the defending champions.

Nonetheless, Arsenal's Premier League title chances have been reduced to 34%, according to FiveThirtyEight's supercomputer.

Man City's chances of winning the Premier League for the third time in a row are rated at 62%.

Arsenal are predicted to finish two points behind City, with the Gunners finishing with 81 points.

Manchester United's title chances have also been boosted, albeit marginally.

The Red Devils have a 2% chance and are expected to finish 11 points behind the leaders.

Newly wealthy Newcastle is expected to win the fourth and final Champions League spot, with Brighton coming in fifth, Tottenham sixth, and Liverpool seventh.

The Seagulls are expected to finish fifth, just ahead of Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea's squad, worth nearly £1 billion, is expected to finish eighth, level on points with ninth-placed Brentford.

The Blues also have a 5% chance of qualifying for the Champions League next season through the league.

The supercomputer predicts that Everton, Bournemouth, and Southampton will all be relegated.

All three have a better than 50% chance of being relegated, with Southampton having the highest percentage at 77.
